Application Requirements
To apply, you must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (B average or better) and have completed your junior year of high school by June 14, 2010. However, if you will have completed your sophomore year by this date and feel sufficiently prepared for college-level work, you may submit an application for consideration. High school students may not register for Northwestern University classes unless they are enrolled in the College Preparation Program.

a teacher or counselor

International Applicants (including
those currently studying in the U.S.)

and one in the language of origin)

- TOEFL score report showing a minimum score of 100 (internet), 600 (paper), or 250 (electronic)
Transcripts and Letters of Recommendation
Please request that a guidance counselor or teacher write
a letter of recommendation on your behalf. Also, please request
that your school's registrar send an official copy of your
high school transcripts. Transcripts must bear the stamp,
seal, or signature of a school official. Letters of recommendation
should be written on school letterhead and signed. International
students must include two copies of their transcript, one
in the language in which it was issued and one English translation,
if needed. Transcripts and letters of recommendation may
be sent separately and must be submitted in sealed envelopes.
It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that all materials
arrive by the appropriate deadline. Incomplete applications
will not be considered.
Deadlines
February 26, 2010 for early, international, and scholarship applicants
April 9, 2010 for domestic applicants
Between April 10 and May 21, 2010, late applications will be considered on a space-available basis.
