Professional Graduate Series

Students interested in graduate course work in liberal studies who want only to focus on a particular area of study or earn a professional credential may pursue a graduate certificate through the Professional Graduate Series. Students choose one liberal studies seminar and three electives from an area of specialization. Students who wish to transfer from the Professional Graduate Series into the MALS program may apply up to three courses with a grade of B or higher toward the degree. Although the Professional Graduate Series in liberal studies is designed to be completed in one year, students have up to two years to complete the requirements.

Certificate of Completion

Prior to completion of their fourth course, students must submit an "Application for Professional Graduate Series Certificate" (PDF Format) to be awarded the certificate.
