MA/MFA Instructor Alex Kotlowitz Featured on This American Life

Chicago author, filmmaker and MA/MFA in Creative Writing instructor Alex Kotlowitz was featured in the most recent broadcast of This American Life, the weekly public radio show of nonfiction essays, memoirs and stories that revolve around a different theme each week. Click here to listen the latest episode featuring Kotlowitz’s segment, In Country, In City, in which Kotlowitz explores whether or not the traumatic effects of inner city violence on kids and adults is comparable to the trauma experienced by a person in war.
