2012 SCS Convocation
Northwestern University School of Continuing Studies celebrated its 2012 graduates with two Convocation ceremonies on Friday, June 15th. The growing number of SCS students required separate ceremonies to award undergraduate and graduate degrees. SCS dean Thomas Gibbons addressed the enthusiastic crowds at Alice Millar Chapel on a picture-perfect day on the Evanston campus. SCS alumnus Stephen Janowiak (BSGS ’00) spoke at the undergraduate ceremony and Christopher Grimes (BSGS ’05, MPPA ’08) was the keynote speaker at the graduate event. A reception for graduates, faculty, family and friends was held between the two ceremonies at the John Evans Alumni Center. Click here to view photos of both ceremonies.
