Preclinical Psychology Concentration

Join us for an Information Session to learn more about this program! Click here to reserve your seat today.

The preclinical psychology concentration admits both pre- and postbaccalaureate students into nine psychology courses required for application to most graduate programs awarding either the doctor of psychology in clinical psychology (PsyD) or the doctor of philosophy in clinical psychology (PhD). Many of these courses are scheduled on weeknights and Saturdays in the fall, winter, and spring quarters on both campuses, and many are also offered during Summer Session.

While this program meets minimal requirements for application to clinical psychology graduate programs in the Chicago area, students are strongly advised to find out the admission requirements of the graduate schools in which they are interested before enrolling in the PDP to ensure that the SCS program fulfills their requirements.
