Religious Studies
Northwestern University School of Continuing Studies offers a collection of undergraduate courses that can be completed for a certificate in Religious Studies. This professional development program explores the major religions and their relationship to each other and other facets of society.
This concentration surveys aspects of major religions of the world, such as Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, and Taoism and is designed for those who have a general interest in religion, though clergy and church leaders may benefit from it as well. Topics courses explore, for example, the impact of religion on American politics, religious terrorism, and other compelling topics that affect everyday life.

* may be repeated up to 3 times with change of topic; other topics courses in religion are also acceptable
