Students will gain an understanding of how a plant grows and functions; learn the structural elements of a plant that enables its growth; develop an ability to diagnose stress factors; and study effective maintenance plans. IAA CEU's 8 credit hours; INA CEU's 2 credit hours; ILCA-CT credit available.

Tuition: $635.00

The designer will have options to adjust of maintain aspects of the setting. Students will be introduced to various site review methods and techniques to adjust the setting. Planting will be reviewed to undestand matching habitat characteristics to those of the materials. Additional discussions will include students understanding different microclimates, understanding plant's response to conditions, and maintaining a design over time. IAA CEU's 24 credit hours; INA CEU's 2 credit hours; APLD CEU's 10 credit hours; ILCA-CLT credit available.
