Philanthropy and Nonprofit Organizations

Ideal for nonprofit administration professionals who wish to enhance their skills as well as those who might be considering nonprofit administration as a second career. This program explores the issues that are often unique to nonprofit organizations with a particular emphasis on fundraising.

  • Grantsmanship and Program Development

Program requirements changed recently. To earn a certificate, you must either satisfy the requirements in place at the time of your initial enrollment, or the current requirements. Reasonable course substitutions will be considered to allow students to complete their certificates without taking additional courses. Program Audience

SCS offers education for the adult community. The program is designed for those seeking to advance their careers in non-profit fundraising or administration; career-changers currently in the for-profit sector who are considering non-profit sector employment; recent graduates of public policy or business administration degree programs; and institution board members and volunteers seeking a foundational understanding of fundraising and philanthropy.

Custom Programs

The School of Continuing Studies works with corporate partners to develop custom Philanthropy and Nonprofit Fundraising programs to meet their specific needs. This program can be held at your company location.
