Welcome to SCS Career Services
In addition to offering career advising, SCS Career Services works with the NU Community and our employer partners to provide quarterly workshops and special events which promote the professional development of our students and alumni.
Career Advising
Career advising sessions take place with a student's academic adviser. The sessions can take place in-person, on the telephone, or via Adobe Connect. Students are encouraged to call 847-491-5612 to schedule a 30 minute to 1 hour session.
Career Services Staff
The primary contact for SCS Career Services is Sonji Jones Cooks, the Coordinator of Career Services.
Career Fairs
The Public Service Career Expo features employers from the nonprofit, education, and government industries. The Expo is hosted by University Career Services and will be held on April 9, 2013 from noon–4 p.m. at the Norris University Center, 2nd floor.

University Career Services
Northwestern University Career Services (UCS) is a centralized career services office on the Evanston campus that provides an extensive range of programming and resources to all Northwestern University degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate students, and alumni.
SCS students who are alumni of or currently enrolled in a degree seeking program have full access to both SCS Career Services and UCS.
SCS students enrolled in non-degree programs and alumni of these programs have access to SCS Career Services only.
Information for Employers
SCS students and alumni are work-experienced professionals who are continuing thier education with the goal of advancing, changing, or starting their career.
