Quarter Conversion at The School of Continuing Studies of Northwestern University

Welcome to the School of Continuing Studies quarter conversion web page. Beginning in fall 2005, the School of Continuing Studies (SCS) will be on the quarter schedule. That means our academic year will consist of three quarters - one each in fall, winter and spring. Summer Session, which will serve as the fourth quarter of our academic year, will not change significantly. This site provides general information about the changes that will take place during the conversion to the quarter system and how you may prepare for them. Also provided are the specific course conversions of each program, a credit-hour conversion calculator, and a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs).
