Make Up Exams/Assignments

If students have missed a class exam, or need to submit work to an instructor outside of class, they may take the exam or submit the work through the SCS offices with permission from the instructor.

Exams:
With the instructor's agreement, proctored make-up exams may be taken in either SCS office. Students must tell the instructor whether they wish to take the exam at the Chicago or Evanston campus so she/he can send the exam to the appropriate SCS office. Students should call the SCS office in advance to schedule the exam, and confirm that the exam has been received at the SCS office.

Assignments:
If students need to submit an assignment outside of class time, they should submit the assignment in either SCS office where it will be logged in, copied and forwarded to the instructor. This practice verifies the date the assignment was received, and assures that a duplicate copy exists, in case the assignment is subsequently lost or misplaced.
